Matthew Lees kicks off the Social Media & Community 2.0 conference primer, “Join the Conversation.” Lees stresses that today is about content and meeting people. There are a bunch of different companies attending, including Lifetime Fitness, AT&T, Communication for the Arts, turbo tax, Texas A&M Foundation, Careerbuilder, Mars, and Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
A few things about today: You’ll find that the totebags are lighter this years, because most of the conference materials are on the conference website.
If you’re a Tweeter (about half of us are), the official conference hashtag is #socialc20. Make sure you write your handle on your conference badge. And don't forget about the Tweet Up tonight at Lucky’s Lounge.
